For over 70 years since our start with foundation work in 1947, Nittoc Construction has been respected as a construction company with geological expertise and as a specialist in disaster prevention, as well as environmental conservation, maintenance and renovation, and urban regeneration.
In light of the frequent large-scale disasters Japan has experienced in recent years—earthquakes, typhoons, and torrential rain—the role of the construction industry in national resilience and disaster mitigation can only grow. Measures are needed around the world to address the numerous sustainability issues, including transitioning our energy supply, reducing CO2 to slow climate change, controlling industrial waste to prevent pollution, and transitioning away from plastics.
Against this backdrop, in FY2023, we will launch our new medium-term management plan, under which we will secure and develop human capital, improve productivity, enhance health, safety, and quality control, promote sustainability management, and take on the challenges of new business domains. Our ultimate goal is to raise our corporate value while delivering solutions to these many challenges.
Under our motto, “Continuing to play a vital, behind-the-scenes role in society through dependable construction technologies,” we will help establish a sustainable society by fulfilling our social responsibilities as a construction company.
