Lifestyle based on mass production, mass consumption, and mass disposal is over. Recent public focuses on recycling society with a low impact on the environment and reuse and/or reduce resources and energy. Therefore, NITTOC is active on creation of technology for reduction of environmental burdens by minimize the production of industrial wastes. For the realization of zero emission society, methods of not only low cost for but also low impact on environment are under development.

UTILIZATION OF BY-PRODUCT AT CONSTRUCTION SITE
Wide range of methods prepared for the creation of vegetation base material at project site. At dam site preparation, most of soils, rocks, plants and trees remain unused. Disposal of these material is not only expensive practice for costs wise but also gives burden to the environment. Nittoc prepares the following methods to change these material into vegetation base material by nature of treating material. The method gives not only low cost project operation but also an ecological solution for the future.
