LANDSLIDE PREVENTION MEASURES
Huge amount of LPM works are accomplished by NITTOC with its technical expertise and excellent field practice. Thousands of NITTOC's slope stabilization methods were adopted through out the country and the world.

Our Join Rock Method is one of our unique technique developed for prevention of rock fall at the steep dangerous hill by grouting the bonding material into the cracks and joints.
Huge cliff over the national route is under renovation by Join Rock.
After the Countermeasure has been applied for the rock fall.

DIAGNOSIS OF SLOPE
Slope diagnosis is our original technique using a combination of Thermal Infrared Image Photography and resonance phenomenon. Slope surface will than be zone mapped by degree of its quality. The countermeasure designs are conducted based on this diagnosed map which enables economical and reliable application.

Not only occupied by precipitous terrain with complex geological condition, Japanese island is located in the typhoon root and on earthquake prone zone which the country is easily affected by natural disasters. In recent years, landslides, slope failures and liquefaction of foundation were brought to citizen's attention after recent massive earthquake. Before and after the catastrophy of the nature, NITTOC played an important role for design and application of countermeasures and renovation of manmade structures.
